Self-catered hut (Selbstversorgerhütte) of the DAV Füssen section, at 1622 m on the Kofelalp below the Dürrenberg in the Ammergau Alps, southeast of Hohenschwangau. Reserved for DAV members.

Getting there
From Hohenschwangau, about 1h30 to the Bleckenau then a southward climb to the hut (approx. 3h, 800 m of ascent). Closed from July 15 to October 15 (alpine pasture + hunting season) and from January 16 to February 28 (nature protection). Reservations to be requested from Herbert Dopfer (email or phone) with names, ages and DAV membership numbers.
