The place

Guarded mountain refuge at 2126 m in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park (Dolomites, South Tyrol, Italy). Vast panorama of some of the finest Dolomite peaks: Croda Rossa (3146 m), Cristallo (3221 m), Sorapis (3205 m), Tofana (3243 m). Rooms, dining, bar, base for hiking and skiing. 2026 seasons: 26 December 2025 — 6 January 2026, then 1 February — 6 April 2026, then 6 June — 11 October 2026 (last overnight stay 3 October). Open daily 7:30am to 10pm; kitchen open 12pm-2:30pm and 6pm-7:30pm.
