The place

CAS hut at 2,105 m in the Uri Alps (Switzerland), at the foot of the Salbitschijen, renowned for its climbing. 58 staffed beds from mid-June to mid-October, 10 beds in winter. 3h access from Göschenen or 2.5h from the Grit car park. Starting point of the Salbit-Brücke, a suspension bridge linking to the Voralphütte. Sleeping bag liner and waste pack-out mandatory. Kristall-Trophy program with other huts in the area.
