Sæteren gård
The place
Large DNT farm (Sæteren gård) at 180 m in Norway, 62 beds. No verifiable detailed information from current public sources. The large capacity suggests use for seminars/groups.
Getting there

The setting
Bærumsmarka (municipality of Bærum, Akershus), 59.95°N 10.56°E, Norway — not Trøndelag. At 180 m elevation, a former sæter (summer pasture) tied to the Nordhaug farm on Griniveien. Akershus cluster with Grangløtt (batch 45, 59.76/11.32).
A bit of history
Originally a sæter (summer pasture) of the Nordhaug farm. Main house built in 1898. Developed as a farm from 1989. In 2000, Statsbygg sold the abandoned farm to DNT Oslo og Omegn for 3 million kroner.
