32-bunk DOC "serviced" hut at 480 m in Nelson Lakes National Park (Nelson/Tasman, NZ), on the Travers-Sabine circuit. Neighbouring stages: D'Urville Hut 2 h; West Sabine Hut 5 h. Adult rate $25/night, youth 5-17 $12.50, under 4 free; camping $10/5/0. Online booking mandatory until 30 June 2027; no bunks held without a booking, same-day bookings accepted until 8 pm. The bridge between Sabine and D'Urville Huts has been removed: the stream crossing may be hazardous after rain. Cleaning station for invasive lindavia algae from Lakes Rotoiti and Rotoroa.
