The place
Former shelter (bedehus, prayer house) managed by DNT Finnskogen og Omegn, located northeast of Svullrya in Finnskogen (Innlandet, eastern Norway), on the route of the Flyktningeruta (Refugee Route) leading to Spikern. The building was closed to hikers several years ago (around 2022): check availability with DNT Finnskogen og Omegn before any trip. The site is near a popular swimming spot.
