Staffed Italian hut located at 1664 m elevation in the Val d'Otro, side valley of the Valsesia (Alagna Valsesia, Piedmont, Pennine Alps). Opened in 1991 after restoration of an old Walser house that had housed the cheese dairy of the Otro consortium ("Zar Senni" means "at the dairy" in old Germanic dialect). 16 beds in two dormitories of 6 bunks + a small 4-bed room. Authentic homestyle catering.
