The place
Small bivouac in the Tuscan Apennines (municipality of Poppi, province of Arezzo, Tuscany), within the Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna National Park. A stop on routes passing the Passo della Crocina (1394 m) and the Passo della Bertesca (1258 m). Maximum capacity 5-6 people, floor sleeping and a small mezzanine. A drinking water spring nearby. Fires only in the indoor fireplace. Classic forested setting of the Foreste Casentinesi (beech and fir forests), a simple stop for hikers passing through.
