Continuous Marche Apennines cluster (batches 244+251). A CAI refuge within the Gola della Rossa e Frasassi Regional Nature Park (Frasassi caves, discovered 1971, spectacular underground chambers). Area of Apennine beech and limestone grassland, heritage of the Sentiero Italia.
