Rifugio Manfrica in the Umbrian-Marche Apennines, Fabriano/Sassoferrato area (province of Ancona, Marche, Italy), at 612 m elevation, on the foothills of the Catria/San Vicino massif. Continuous Marche cluster (batches 244-260). A CAI refuge in the Gola della Rossa e Frasassi regional nature park (Frasassi caves, 1971). Located in a zone of Apennine beech woods and limestone grasslands, part of the heritage of the historic Fabriano paper mill (13th century, invention of the watermark).
