Rifugio le Vicenne at 1441 m (DB 1447 m) in the territory of Sulmona, Maiella National Park (coordinates 42.11°N 13.95°E, L'Aquila province, Abruzzo, Italy). View over the Conca Peligna. Near the Eremo di San Pietro and the Sentiero dello Spirito. Interior with two rooms: one with a fireplace and tables, the other a dormitory. Drinking-water fountain nearby. Close to the small rock church of Santa Maria in Cryptis.
Getting there
Access via trail R6 (summit Monte Morrone, 2061 m), R4 from Roccacasale via Rifugio Colle delle Vacche, or R5 from the former Fonte d'Amore prisoner camp at Sulmona.
