Rifugio Lago dell'Orso (Bear Lake Refuge) in the Sibillini Mountains National Park, Norcia/Castelluccio area (Marche/Umbria, Italy), at 1790 m elevation, Piano Grande plateau. Continuous Sibillini cluster (batches 294-296). CAI refuge near the Piano Grande di Castelluccio (~30 km² of PGI lentils, and a world-famous poppy bloom spectacle in June-July). Area at the epicentre of the 2016 M6.5 Norcia earthquake. Home to the Apennine wolf (Canis lupus italicus, about 3,300 individuals).
