The place

Staffed refuge at 1982 m at Passo San Pellegrino, municipality of Soraga (Trentino, Val di Fassa, Dolomites). Originally an old hay barn belonging to Soraga, converted into a refuge in the 1960s; the current owners took over management in the early 1980s. Surrounded by the Catena del Costabella with views over the Pale di San Martino and the Col Margherita. Cosy restaurant serving Ladin cuisine, rooms (two accessible for reduced mobility), rich breakfast buffet. Summer season from 1 June to 4 October. Winter access by piste groomer.
