The place

Unstaffed stone cabin built in 2010 on the Monti di Frasco, at 1941 m in the Ticino Val Verzasca. Capacity of 7 bunks with wool blankets (sleeping bag recommended). Solar lighting, running water inside, wood or gas stove heating. Separate WC building with shower. Kitchen equipped for self-catering. Access from Frasco in about 3 h for 1,050 m of ascent, level T3. Passable in winter but water and WC limited depending on snow cover.
