The place
Hut at 1,570 m altitude at the Alpe Colma, in the commune of Calasca-Castiglione (Verbano-Cusio-Ossola), between the Valle Antrona and the Valle Anzasca. Twelve beds across two rooms, dining room seating around thirty, indoor bathroom with shower and hot water. Rebuilt from the ruins of an old cattle shed, it offers a 360° panorama over the surrounding valleys. Currently seeking management.

Access from Viganello, parking near the sports field, then trail towards La Colma, about 2 h walk.
