Cabane de la Forcola: A Rustic and Cozy Mountain Refuge Cabane de la Forcola, nestled in the heart of the mountains, offers simple and welcoming accommodation for nature lovers seeking adventure. At an altitude of 2,278 metres, this rustic cabin is a true haven of peace for hikers. Accommodation and Facilities Capacity: 15 places in dormitories. Comfort: Mattresses provided, wood stove, gas stove, cutlery, running water. Rooms: Three 4-bed dormitories and one 3-bed dormitory, with wool blankets. Showers: Available when the warden is present. Communication and Services Mobile network: Coverage from Swisscom, Sunrise and Orange. Winter: No running water, but it's possible to melt snow and cook on the Swedish stove. Firewood reserve available if gas runs short. Drinks: Drinks sold on site, payment at the designated cash box. Booking: Recommended to secure a place, priority given to reservations. Departure: Remember to turn off the lights and sign the hut logbook. Access and Contact Routes: From Arvigo to Braggio by cable car, then about a 1h30 walk to Alp di Fora. Other routes from Sta.
