The place
The Rieplalmhütte is an unstaffed DAV hut (Munich section) at 1363 m elevation in an alpine pasture area below the Marchbachjoch in the Kitzbüheler Alpen (Wildschönau, Kufstein district, Tyrol). Sleeps 12. A simply furnished hut, ideal for families with children (small bunkrooms). Running water in summer, outdoor toilets on the balcony, outdoor washbasins in the basement. Beautiful nearby hiking destinations: Feldalphorn, Schwaiberghorn, Breitegg. Good ski touring options in winter. Neighbours the Dr.-Erich-Berger-Hütte.
