Standard DOC hut with 8 bunks at 1,216 m in Mount Richmond Forest Park (Marlborough South, NZ). Built in 1968. Alpine terrain with tussocks, mountain daisies, and gentians above the tree line. Mount Richmond (1,760 m) accessible via a 560 m climb. Access from Jacksons Creek Road, 4 h / 6.7 km; from Mt Fell Hut, 4 h / 5.2 km. No booking: Standard ticket or Backcountry Hut Pass (adults $10, youths $5, under-4s free).
