The place

Self-service DNT Romsdal cabin at the western end of Lake Reinsvatnet, in the Sunndalsfjella area (Møre og Romsdal, Norway), at about 900 metres elevation, in open terrain surrounded by peaks of 1,700-1,800 m. Capacity of 10 beds plus 6 additional mattresses. Locked with a DNT key; supplies available at the local depot to supplement food brought along. A hub of the DNT network with marked trails to four neighbouring cabins. A good starting point for day trips, notably to Reinstinden or Slotthø. Open year-round.
