Refugio vivac Loma de Cáñar ("Cáñar Ridge Bivouac") in the Sierra Nevada, southern slope (Alpujarra), province of Granada (Andalusia, Spain), at 2800 m. An open-access, high-altitude bivouac on the routes to the summit of Mulhacén (3479 m, the highest peak on the Iberian peninsula). A Mediterranean alpine zone.
