Refugio Llano De La Casa in the Sierra de la Demanda, province of Burgos (Castile and León, Spain), at 1259 m elevation, on the northern foothills of the Sistema Ibérico. Part of the continuous Sierra Demanda cluster (batches 235-267). An unstaffed free refugio, heir to the serranías of Burgos and the monasteries of San Millán de la Cogolla (UNESCO, birthplace of written Castilian in the 11th century). Area of beech, Pyrenean oak and Scots pine.
