The place

Chozo libre del Pinganillo, a former shepherd's hut restored in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, commune of Rascafría (Community of Madrid). Wooden bunk bed for 4 people plus floor space, fireplace with several working grills, table, bench, large wooden bench for sleeping bags, wooden shelf and several hooks on the beams for hanging bags. Access via the Puerto de la Morcuera then GR 10.1, passing the Refugio del Aguilón then the path behind it. Spectacular sunrise view over the Bailanderos, Asómate de Hoyo, Navahondilla and Cabezas de Hierro Mayor peaks.
