The place
Unstaffed refuge at about 1800 m in the municipality of Alcalá de la Selva (Teruel, Aragon), in the Sierra de Gúdar, near La Atalayuela and La Mazorra, close to the Valdelinares ski resort. On the long-distance GR 8 and the Montañas Vacías bikepacking route. Fireplace for the cold months, acceptable condition. A stop on the routes linking the La Chaparrilla refuge, Fuen Roya and the Las Lavaderas waterfall. Nearby: Valdelinares (ski resort) and Gúdar.
