The place
Unstaffed refuge at 2,010 m in the Aragonese Ribagorza (Huesca), at the foot of the Turbón (2,492 m), an emblematic peak of the Spanish pre-Pyrenees. Two rooms: the small one at the entrance serves as storage, the larger one is equipped with a fireplace, a table with benches and a mezzanine for sleeping. Accessible via a dirt track from Serrate.
Getting there
Dirt track from Serrate, about 1,000 m elevation gain. Passes by the Fuente de la Pedreña (1,960 m).
