The place
Small unstaffed refuge at around 1550 m per external sources (DB 1590 m), municipality of Aísa (Huesca, Aragón). At the entrance to the Igüer plain, just 3 minutes from the forest-to-pasture transition. Two-room building, each room with a door, window and fireplace. Nearby archaeological site (dolmen) and the Cueva de Abi. Access from the village of Aísa via a trail north of the car park, about 20 minutes on foot. Drinking water available. Overall condition average. Unstaffed free refuge, maintained for hikers and climbers in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
