Refugio de Monte Oscuro in the Palentina range (Castile and León), Cervera de Pisuerga/Aguilar de Campoo area (Palencia, Spain), at 1,378 m elevation, eastern Cantabrian range. Continuous Spain cluster (batches 214-308). A FEDME refuge within the Fuentes Carrionas y Fuente Cobre Natural Area, part of the heritage of chestnut/beech woodland and of the Cantabrian brown bear (Ursus arctos, ~370 individuals across two Cantabrian population cores, recovering since the 1990s and recolonizing from Spain since 2005).
