The place
Unstaffed refuge at 2,000 m in the Sierra de Chía, above the village of Plan in Sobrarbe (Aragonese Pyrenees). Twenty bunk beds and home-style cooking when someone is present. Waypoint on the traverse to the Benasque valley via the Sahún pass. Mid-mountain Pyrenean setting, base for hiking to the Pico de Marradetas and neighbouring peaks.
