Refugio de los Arteseros

The place

Refuge at 1564 m in the Sierra de Malagón (Castile and León, Spain) — not to be confused with any other Arteseros that may exist in Aragon. In a state of semi-abandonment: part of the roof has collapsed under the weight of snow and the breaking of the old wooden beams supporting it. The refuge is in ruins and walled up (tapiado). Access via hiking trails from El Espinar / San Rafael, about 7.2 km. Unusable.
