The place

Sleeping places planned: 12. Cabin renovated by the municipality of Bielsa in 2004 (metal door, window, fireplace...). Since 2009, members of the mountain club "Les Cadets de Toulouse" have continued the work with the municipality's agreement (stove, table, chairs). The waterproofing, interior fittings, ceiling paint, wall plastering and renovation of the sleeping platforms were carried out in 2014 and 2015. Two large sleeping platforms, a stream not far away (needs treating), a wood stove (do not use the fireplace as indicated), firewood nearby, a table and benches. From the Mines de Barrosa car park (located on the A138, 300 m south of the Hospital de Parzan), follow the Rio Barrosa upstream. First on a track, it soon becomes a path.
