The place
Forest refuge at 1559 m in the commune of Campelles (Ripollès, Catalonia), below the north slope of the Pic de la Covil. Free refuge, very popular due to its easy access, which was closed by the Campelles town hall in order to guarantee decent conditions given the inability to contain antisocial behaviour. Access from Ribes de Freser via the GIV-4011 to Campelles (6 km).
