Refugi de Sant Patllari

The place

Small single-nave 13th-century chapel at the summit of Sant Patllari, a former mountain known as Monte Speculo (1182 m), commune of Porqueres (Pla de l'Estany, Catalonia). Hermits lived there until the second half of the 19th century. Around 1727, a series of renovations was carried out on the hermitage; an adjoining shelter with a fireplace can accommodate about ten people if needed. Free access.
