The place
Unguarded stone refuge at 2075 m, in the parish of Canillo (Andorra), reachable by car to the end of the Forn track. Built in 1981, open year-round with summer maintenance. Six bunk-style sleeping spots, a fireplace, and a water point right next to the building. About an hour's walk from the parking area at the end of the track, with 170 m of ascent on an easy trail. A good base for outings in the high valleys of eastern Andorra, and a possible stop on the loops toward Pic de Tristaina and Pic de Bony de la Pala. No reservation needed, free for hikers.
