The place
Free cabin (refugi lliure) at 2080 m below the Col de Bonaigua, in the western Catalan Pyrenees, following the high-voltage line into a valley above the reservoirs. Basic wayside shelter, unstaffed and without services. A base for climbs in the Tres Puis and Lo Tuc summit area and for crossings into the Val d'Aran and Pallars Sobirà. Not to be confused with the Refugi Pleta del Prat (1722 m, staffed, Tavascan resort, Lladorre), which is a separate refuge in the same massif.
