The place
Staffed Catalan refuge at 1985 m of altitude in the commune of Vall de Boí (Alta Ribagorça), west of the outflow of the Estany Llong in the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. 47 beds during the staffed season. Showers, central heating, fireplace, blankets and mattresses. Out of season: refuge closed, but the Centraleta (10 spots) is open 1 km further down (1913 m) at the confluence of the Nicolau and Contraix rivers.
