Next to the ski club chalet, there is an open shelter. It is open on the south-southeast side. In 2022, closed and occupied by equipment. The place is accessible from the Col des Bagenelles via the GR5 trail. The shelter is next to a chalet of the Ski Club Sainte Marie aux Mines.
