Refuge pastoral des tres fonts

The place

Pastoral refuge at 2200 m in the Capcir (Pyrénées-Orientales). Occupied by shepherds in summer. According to 2023 information, used as equipment storage by the shepherd and therefore inaccessible. Abundant dead wood nearby, water possibly available at the "tres fonts" (three springs) 100 m behind the cabin — to be confirmed. Access from the Lac de Vallserra car park: continue on the track skirting the lake, climb 1 km, take a steep path on the left heading due east, then left again to rejoin the track, and continue to the end.
