The place

Sleeping places: 8 Water: [->1216] A small spring 1h30 away on the balcony trail to the south, or at Pré Peyret. Fairly well-kept setup, a stove, a fairly large table, a bench. The shelter seems well insulated and practical. Renovated by the ONF in 1999 according to the logbook. Broom/dustpan. No saw or axe. October 2025: Mezzanine that can accommodate 5 people + 3 on the ground-floor benches. New kitchen corner with dishes, pots, bowls, cutlery, candles, salt and pepper. Pantry (fraaagile), 3.0 opening :) Improved seal on the stove flue outlet. New staircase with reinforced handrails. New ground-floor benches. Shelf for odds and ends. Outdoor benches and tables. Woodshed. Not far from [->19] and the high plateaus, 1h30 from the road below (locality called "Le Chateau" ([->207])). WARNING the road is cut off due to a landslide at the first car park (the Fournaire one). The balcony trail towards the Col de Ménil is diverted by order of the mayor shortly after the Dent de Die, due to possible landslides.
