Refuge Le Tamiset

The place

Unguarded hut at 1320 m in the commune of Chézery-Forens (Ain, Bugey/Haut-Jura massif). Two spaces: living room with table, two bunk beds, cupboard, shelves and wood stove; barn/attic with about twenty sleeping places on bed bases. Tables and chairs in the barn, firewood stored for winter, an axe available on site; in summer, firewood can be gathered nearby. Key hanging on a nail above the door, instructions on the door and inside. No water source nearby.
