The place

Unstaffed cabin at 2140 m in the Beaufortain (Savoie), an annex of the Refuge de la Coire located 5 minutes' walk away. Same managers as the staffed refuge. Facilities: mattresses, gas stove, dishware, wood stove. Self-service management, but contact with the wardens is mandatory to book a spot, even outside the staffed season. Overnight stay at 14 €. A stage on the Tour du Beaufortain.
