The place

Forest refuge at 849 m in the Canigou massif (Pyrénées-Orientales, Conflent), accessible by car (car park alongside). Very clean and in excellent condition. A 2-place sleeping platform per level plus floor space. Outdoor fire pit and open indoor fireplace, picnic table. Possible to pitch a tent nearby. Starting point for the Refuge des Cortalets (3h30 to 4h on foot via the path passing Roc Mosquit).
