Refuge de la Clairière: A Little Corner of Paradise in the Great Outdoors The Refuge de la Clairière, nestled in a shaded clearing, is a true haven of peace. Surrounded by a small pond, a fountain, a picnic area and latrines, this refuge offers an idyllic setting for nature lovers. Facilities and Safety Annexes Closed: Due to vandalism, the refuge's two annexes are unfortunately locked. Controlled Access: With the agreement of local forestry services, it is possible to spend a night in the Gaulia chalet, located in the neighbouring forest of the same name. Access and Routes Multiple Access Points: Several marked routes lead to the refuge. Main Route: Start from the car park at the end of the Rhonne forest road (640 m), near the Pierre du Mort couloir. Follow a path west until reaching a forest track leading quickly to the refuge.
