Refuge et gîte d 'étape du Bourdils

The place

Stopover lodge and refuge at 1050 m in Saint-Julien (Tarn), at the junction of the GR7 and GR71 (map TOP25-2543OT Lamalou-les-Bains). In the Caroux-Espinouse-Lacaune mountains. Ground floor: large room with fireplace, able to cook for about 20 people. Upstairs, two dormitories: 3-4 beds with mattresses, small table, a few chairs, fireplace. Staffed from mid-June to mid-September by the Sud randos association (06 15 97 90 28). Access by car from the Col de Fontfroide: towards Cambon (D53 on the right) for 200 m then the first track on the right (ridge path) following the "BOURDILS" signs. On foot: 3h from Mons, 4h30 from Douch or via Montahut.
