Refuge in the Val di Lanzo - Valle di Viu: A Haven of Peace in the Great Outdoors The refuge in the Val di Lanzo - Valle di Viu, nestled in an exceptional natural setting, offers an authentic and refreshing experience. With a capacity of 32 people, this refuge is open from 15 July to 31 August, and on weekends from June to the end of September. Services and Facilities Services: Stove for warmth. Equipment: Mattresses, blankets and pillows are provided for optimal comfort. Winter room: 6 places available for the brave adventurers wishing to discover the region's snow-covered landscapes. Access and Contact Road access: Possible to drive to the edge of the Lac de Malciaussa at 1,805 m altitude. Route: A path west of the lake leads directly to the refuge, managed by the CAI Chieri section of the Turin Italian Alpine Club.
