The place
Sleeping spots: 4 Restored hut! Two rooms on the ground floor and a large attic. Right-hand room: Closed. Left-hand room: A table, a bench, a broken window pane with shutter, a replaced stove. A ladder leading up to the large attic. Attic: nothing, very large, wood floor. Appears to have mice. From [->5279], take the nice path between the tap and the house that skirts the mountain almost horizontally. The path narrows then descends into the bottom of the valley for 50m to cross the stream. The path then climbs the other side and, arriving at a small scree slope around 1350m, bear right. The path continues climbing to reach the hut, hidden at the bottom of the valley. ONF
Getting there
Accès depuis l'abri d'Entre-Valls, par un sentier qui contourne la montagne de façon quasi horizontale, redescend pour traverser un ruisseau, puis remonte jusqu'à la cabane.
The setting
Cabane récemment restaurée, entourée de forêt, deux pièces au rez-de-chaussée. La pièce de gauche (table, banc, poêle) est accessible aux randonneurs ; la pièce de droite est réservée à l'ONF. Point d'eau à moins de 100m, tarissement possible en période sèche.
