Refuge-campsite site of the International Appalachian Trail (SIA-Québec) 15 km from Sainte-Marguerite, on the Matapédia Valley section. A 3.7 m × 3.7 m wooden platform for pitching tents, dry toilet. Here the SIA follows old forest ranger trails, abandoned moose paths, old forest roads and back roads linking Sainte-Marguerite, Causapscal, Saint-Alexandre-des-Lacs, Lac-au-Saumon, Amqui and Saint-Vianney.
