The place
Old wooden hut at 1153 m near the junction of the GR7 and GR36 with the RD 87 in the Nore state forest (Portail de Nore, Montagne Noire, Aude). Without doors or windows, it may serve as shelter in bad weather. Spring 1 km away by the road, on the other side of the Col del Tap.
Getting there
Près de l'intersection des sentiers GR7 et GR36 avec la RD87, forêt domaniale de Nore. Une fontaine se trouve à environ 1 km au col.
A word from the warden
Non gardée. Selon refuges.info (mise à jour 29/05/2023), la cabane est désormais entièrement détruite — il ne subsiste que la dalle en béton et le foyer de la cheminée ; un abri en béton à proximité offre une protection sommaire.
