The place

Unstaffed shelter at 1180 m in the Jura, in the Doubs department. Access via the Vy aux Moines path then the Chemin de la Côte du Cerf: the hut is a few dozen steps from the path on the right heading towards the Maison du Cerf. Basic shelter: no door, open window with gaps between the boards. No water point nearby. Freely accessible year-round. According to recent visits (May 2024), condition is poor.
