The place

No booking possible. Small covered area, stone table outside and hearth. Three wooden tables seating 8-10 people each inside (about 20 square meters). Broom and hooks for the fireplace available (January 2014), more functional in 2023. Plenty of wood in the forest around the hut. A9 motorway, exit number 3. Take the cantonal road towards Mathod/Yverdon. Turn off towards Valeyres-sous-Rances. 600 meters after the turn-off, take a small road to the right and continue to the bois de Vuavre.
