The place

Communal shelter at 1380 m in the municipality of Le Chenit (Vaud Jura, canton of Vaud, Switzerland), in the Vaud Jura Regional Natural Park. Made available to hikers by the municipality under specific conditions: occupation limited to a single day, overnight stays forbidden except in emergencies, mandatory sharing among users, no reservations, fire only in the stove using wood gathered from the ground in the surrounding forest, to be replaced. Interior: table and benches. Near the village of L'Orient; Grand Cunay 1 km to the south-east, Mont Tendre 3.5 km to the north-east.
