The place

Refuge du Club Alpin de Belfort: A Break in Nature, in the Mountains Set in an idyllic location, the Refuge du Club Alpin de Belfort offers 19 sleeping places for the night. Open to all by reservation, this refuge charges 10 euros per night, or 5 euros for club members. Comfort and Amenities The refuge has a 19-place dormitory equipped with mattresses and blankets. On the ground floor there is a dining room/kitchen. Water comes from a rainwater collector and must be boiled first; alternatively, a spring can be found 20 minutes downhill, at the place called Fennematt. A wood reserve is available on site, and lighting is electric. Activities and Services In addition to lodging, the refuge offers an outdoor barbecue area for convivial gatherings. Parking is available at Riervescemont - Baerenkopf, 3.6 km away with 428 m of elevation gain.
